According to UN's goals toward sustainable society, attention to 'climate change' is necessary. In that reason, the exhibition, El Artico Se Rompe, is a good example of the action.

As you are a citizen of this planet, you have a duty to preserve your home. And in Bilbao, there is an exhibition that you need to pay attention to in order to save our Earth!
In Casco Viejo, An exhibition was held from October 6 to 12 which called 'El Ártico Se Rompe'. As you can figure it out, it is about the climate change in arctic.
"We held this exhibition to show the uniqueness of the Arctic ecosystem, explain the important role it plays in the global climate and discover its characteristics and biodiversity. ", said Beatriz Arnedo, the guide of this exhibition.
In the exhibition, visitors can meet sensational photographs of Andoni Canela, a prestigious photographer of nature who has traveled throughout the Arctic territory and brought images of there.
Since there is kiosk with touch screen which provide further information about arctic, the exhibition is very interactive. Also, visitors can participate on the quiz game about the exhibition with the screen.
We can divide whole exhibition in 4 areas. The first area is about climate change. That is, focus on the global warming. People can learn about why global warming is coming out and what is our duty to stop the global warming.
In the second area, we can meet many lovely creatures, for instance, harp seal and polar bear. Yes, it is about the creatures and vegetation of arctic. For instance, you can learn As everyone knows, there are many animals and plants in crisis of extinction. People get time to think about how to protect those species.
The third section is more focus on the population of arctic area. Life of habitants and their economic difficulties as ice melting.
In the last section it is focus on, the beauty that we can see the northern light in the arctic. In very end of the exhibition, people can make a grade of exhibition so that citizens' opinions can be reflected in the next show.
Everyone living in Bilbao including transient can step to the building that looks like vinyl greenhouse. After that, you can get information about arctic and ice melting for free. Even someone can be a intellectual helping climate change. It can happen while you are taking a walk near the Ría del Nervión O de Bilbao, or on your way home. So It should have lower barriers to access to information and no one is excluded from education. Such a system creates a society that pays attention to social problems. Even if someone can't understand or remembered fully all of the exhibition, the society can be changed in a better direction just by being exposed to the problem of global warming. This exhibition doesn't seem like such a big event but it shows has a high growth potential in terms of social education.
It was hold by the Caixa Bank. Caixa bank hold some free exhibitions before to expose public in many different topics. It is worth paying attention for influential companies to holding events to encourage social awareness. The efforts of capitalized companies to foster social awareness sometimes contribute to social development.

The result of ice melting is not just matter for the people, animals, and plants living there, but also for everyone in this planet. So, everyone living in the earth have conscience about climate change. And if you know how to save the earth, you can make the sustainable earth. Bilbao is doing part of it and it is valuable and helpful to the earth more being livable.
